The Daily Ittefaq:

The Daily Ittefaq is the oldest national Bangla daily newspaper in Bangladesh. The Newspaper is owned by Ittefaq Group of Publications Ltd. It was launched on December 24, 1953. Ittefaq was founded by Tofazzal Hossain Manik. He was the founding editor of this newspaper. His son, Anwar Hossain Manju, also serves as the editor of the Daily Ittefaq. Currently the Acting Editor of the Daily Ittefaq is Tasmima Hossain. The Newspaper played a very significant role during the Independence movement of Bangladesh.
